Audit checks / APP-KW-01
A term spends here and is an exact keyword elsewhere
Apple's own advice is to keep such terms as negatives in a discovery campaign: the exact keyword is where its bid and its numbers are meant to be, and here it competes with itself and blurs both. A keyword for another app or another country is not the same traffic.
- Fires when
- A search term no keyword of its ad group targets spent at least 1.0x CPA_t with at least 10 taps in 30 days, and is a live exact keyword in another ad group for the same app and a country in common.
- What to do
- Add an exact negative keyword on the ad group where it spends.
- How the impact is estimated
- Not quantified: a figure here would be a guess.
